Normal Method
For 2 or more players. This method is easiest to play in person.
The Game
►Collect cards by correctly guessing the Bible characters from the clues, and pair-up cards from the same set. The person with the most pairs wins.
►Each card is part of a set of 4, with the same 4 names at the bottom of each of the 4 cards in that set.
►There are 13 sets in total.
►The aim is to get as many pairs of cards as possible. A pair is any 2 cards from a set.
►Any time a player gets a new card, the card should go to the back of the players "Hand". They should also check for, and put down any pairs.
►Always place any pairs that you get face up in front of you so everyone can see the names on the cards. Any cards that are paired up are then out of play.
►Every time a player puts down a pair, they should pick up 1 card from the "Deck".
►The game ends when all cards are paired.
►The winner is the person with the most pairs.
►For a shorter game, decide on the number of pairs a player would need to win the game.
How to Play—3 or more players
1) Shuffle the cards and deal 5 cards per player face down. These cards are the players "Hand".
2) Put the rest of the cards (the "Deck") in a pile face down, accessible to everyone.
3) Before the game begins, check for any pairs that you have been dealt, and place them in front of you.
4) Play goes clockwise. The person to the left of the dealer starts. This player is the "Reader".
5) The "Reader" should read the first clue from the card at the front of their "Hand".
6) ►Starting with the player to the left of the "Reader" and working round clockwise, players should take turns to guess the character. The player guessing is the "Guesser". If no one guesses correctly, then the next clue should be read, and everyone take turns to guess again, and so on.
►Once all the clues have been read, if no one has guessed correctly, the "Reader" should reveal the name of the character from the card. (This will help the "Guessers" to learn the character, and will help next time the card's clues are read). The card should be put to the back of the "Reader’s" "Hand". Move to step (7).
►However, if a "Guesser" guesses the correct character, they get the card from the "Reader". The "Reader" picks up 1 card from the "Deck". (Remember, any time anyone gets a new card, from anyone else or from the deck, you should check for pairs). Move to step (7).
7) The next player clockwise from the last "Reader" is now the "Reader". Go back to step (5) and repeat until the game ends.

4) Decide who goes first. This player is the "Reader".
5) The "Reader" should read any clue from the card at the front of their "Hand". (If this card comes up again, a different clue can be read).
6) ►The other player should guess the character. The player guessing is the "Guesser".
►If the "Guesser" guesses wrong, no more clues are read. The "Reader" should say the name of the character from the card. The card should be put to the back of the "Reader’s" "Hand". Move to step (7).

Game Show Style (Great over Zoom)
For 3 or more players.
This method is great to play over Zoom.
The Game
►This method works similar to a game show.
►One person is the "Reader", and reads the questions out. The rest of the players are "Guessers".
►Teams can contain 1 or more players.
How to Play—3 or more players
1) Shuffle the cards and place 10 cards in a pile face down the ("Deck"). Where there are more than 4 teams, add an extra card per team over 4. (eg, for 6 teams, play with 12 cards).
2) The "Reader" picks up the card from the top of the ("Deck").
3) The "Reader" should read through the clues, giving enough time in between each clue to allow players to guess.
► If a team guesses the correct character, award the team 2 points and put the card to the bottom of the "Deck".
► If no team guesses correctly, reveal the correct answer, and place the card to the bottom of the "Deck".
The following is optional: To discourage every team randomly guessing multiple times, you can implement one or more of the following rules:
► If a team guesses incorrectly, they are deducted 1 point.
► If a team guesses incorrectly, they can not guess again on the same clue.
► If a team guesses incorrectly, they can not guess again on any subsequent clues until a different team makes a guess.
4) Repeat steps (2) and (3) until a team reaches 10 points!
Increase or decrease the number of cards you play with, or the number of points to reach to win if you want a longer or shorter game.
